Most headroom
NVIDIA
The strongest compact choice for demanding dashboards, animation, and continuous operation. Active cooling and Gigabit Ethernet help with sustained workloads.
The tube model is the latest Shield TV of this shape, but stock may be limited.
Best all-around
A balanced Android TV player with 4 GB of memory, 32 GB of storage, and built-in Gigabit Ethernet. A roomy enclosure makes it a strong everyday signage choice.
An HDMI 2.1 cable is required and sold separately.
Best Fire OS stick
Amazon
Amazon's fastest Fire OS stick, with a 2.0 GHz processor, 2 GB of memory, 16 GB of storage, and Wi-Fi 6E. The extra storage is useful for managed deployments.
For continuous use, leave airflow around the stick and power it from the included adapter.
Great value
Amazon
A current Fire OS model with Wi-Fi 6 and solid 4K performance. It is a sensible middle tier for standard signs, slides, menus, and status pages.
Use the included wall adapter rather than a TV USB port for dependable power.
Lowest cost
Amazon
The least expensive current 4K option and the first Fire TV Stick powered by Vega OS. Best for the curated art, space, weather, and time displays.
Choose a higher-headroom device for animation-heavy or computationally demanding pages.
